API 570 Training Course


(upbeat music) – Hey everybody, Bob Rasooli,
Orange County, California. Welcome to the I4I academy. If you’re planning to take
the API 570 Piping Inspection Certification Exam by the API, I have a video training
for you, a prep course. There’s a video training,
it’s not a boring PowerPoint presentation with a voiceover. It’s the real me in the classroom, which I’m teaching the B31.3, we’re gonna go through the B31.3 to see what’s the scope of the B31.3 is, what is the material requirement and what is the design
of the wall thickness under the internal pressure,
how we’re gonna calculate the wall thickness to
considering the structural allowances and the corrosion allowance and also calculating the
wall thickness of the blanks. All of them covered
on this video training. Then we’re gonna move on to impact testing to see when the impact test
is a mandatory requirement by the B31.3, and if we didn’t get exempt from the impact testing, what
is the acceptance criteria for those tests. So after we’ve covered
the materials segment, we’re gonna go to the fabrication to see what is the fabrication tolerances is, and then all of the
joints that we are having, weld types, different
items on the fabrication, we’re gonna review them
and the welding defects, all of them is gonna be covered. And then we’re gonna go to
the inspection and testing to see what is the NDE
requirement based of the B31.3, like a liquid penetrant testing,
magnetic particle testing, radiography testing, ultrasonic
testing, if you wanted to perform that, all of
them is gonna be covered. And also hydrostatic
testing, pneumatic testing, all of them is gonna be
in this video training. After we’ve completed this segment, we’re gonna go and you’re
gonna log on in the portal. There’s gonna be hundreds of
exam questions about the B31.3, some of them are open-book,
some of them is closed-book, for calculation of wall thickness
and all of the questions that normally comes in the API 570 Exam, we’ve simulated those questions. When you’ve completed the B31.3 you can move on onto section IX, where we’ll get a detail session for our ASME
section IX, video training. We’re gonna be in the
class, here, and explain all the A number, F number,
essential varible non-essential varible, welder
performance qualifications, and the qualification of the WPS and PQR. All of them
which included in the exam is gonna be covered in the video training. And again, similarly, when
you’ve completed the segment, there’s gonna be in our
portal a separate segment for the ASME section IX,
we haven’t mixed them up, so you are having them separately, you’re gonna have almost
200 exam questions for ASME section IX, which
50 out of them are gonna be about the 5 WPS’s
and PQR’s, that we’re gonna provide to you, and ask
you to verify them and to see if something
is wrong with some portion of this WPS and PQRs and make
yourself ready for a API exam. When you’ve completed the
API, sorry ASME section IX, then we’re gonna move
on to ASME section V. Similarly, we’re gonna cover
that by the video training, and then you’re gonna log on on the portal for ASME section V. And then, when the ASME is
done, we’re gonna move on on the API, which we’re gonna
start with the API 570, which part of that,
is a self-explanatory and part of that we need to have
a session for that, we’re having lots of
problems, that we’re gonna solve on the, this
whiteboard, you’re gonna see how we’re gonna calculate
the remaining life, the corrosion rate, long-term, short-term, how we’re gonna calculate
the MAWP to confirm the next inspection
interval, all of them which is part of your exam is gonna
be covered in these videos. And then, similarly, there
is a, there is a hundreds of exam questions, you’re
gonna log on on the system, go over there, and take
those quizzes and exams and practice, and make
yourself ready for exams. So, then, other portion of the course also is gonna be API 574
which is the self-explanatory. You’re gonna gonna have
the exam questions, I’m gonna ask you, in the
course that you, review the 574, and then answer to the
question to the portal. The same thing goes for
API 571, API 578, API 577, there’s a hundreds of exam
question in the portal, they are separated,
they are not mixed up. So you’re gonna take
them, when you’re done with all of these separate
exams, then we are having a practice exam, which is mixed up. You know, it’s a similar to the API exam, we are having the closed-book exam, you are having your open-book exam. You’re gonna go and take those questions, which is gonna be mixed up from
the all of these code books, and in the end, you’re gonna
take an exam, in the portal, which is a final exam and
then if you pass that exam, you’re gonna receive a
certificate from I4I Academy with my signature, which
are actually, you know, qualifying you for 48 hour training, that you had for piping,
inspection, video training course, and you can use these
things in other places, if you want to renew your CWI certificate, and they need some, you know
training that you passed, you can use there also, or
other certification program that they require you
to pass certain amount of the training, then you
can use this certificate. So there gonna be, I have
no doubt, if you go through this video training, and handout,
and these exam questions, I have no doubt you’re gonna pass the exam without any problem. You’re not gonna be surprised
when you are sitting over there for exam, and
then you’re gonna be able to very easily pass the exam
and I have no doubt about that. By the way, I put some sample
of the videos, as a demo, here down below, you can watch
them to see how we present, about the different portion of the API 570 Certification Program. And also I’m gonna provide
some access to you to just go and to see in the portal, to see what’s the exam questions looks like. And then to make sure that this
