Educate for the future and invest in people who will make the change

Europe is full of amazing and
smart people, but we are missing a culture that
embraces risk-taking and innovation. Competition is global,
that’s why business has 2 components: innovation and marketing. That’s why new and relevant
competencies and skills are needed. This means a fundamental rethink
of the role of education, starting with our primary
school system. Our universities need
to be modernised with innovative
teaching methods and non-disciplinary agendas. The future European research and
innovation programme should reinforce its support for skills
development in Europe. Investing in Europe’s
next generation workforce is a no-regret investment.
