if you want to see more videos about planning and organizing for your business, subscribe
to my channel and hit the bell to be notified whenever I post new videos every week. So, at the beginning of the year, you make
all sorts of plans for your business. But then, before you know it, it’s already
March and most of those plans have kind of faded into the background. sounds familiar? Well, by the end of this video we’ll have
reviewed the past year, tied up all loose ends and planned and prepared you for the
new year. So you can really rock in 2020. Alright, let’s take a little trip down memory
lane. Let’s take out a piece of paper, and start
with the fun part, write down all the highlights for your business over the past year. Maybe you started your business, or you signed
a very big client. Or you had a campaign that was very successful. Just write down everything that was successful
for your business, or even your personal life. Maybe you went on a great vacation, or you
got a new puppy. I don’t know. You know what, comment below: What was your
highlight of 2019? Now that we’ve written down all of the highlights,
let’s have a look at things that didn’t quite work out the way you had hoped. And especially, are they worth trying again
in the next year. But maybe a little bit differently. Yas, you’re looking at one of mine right now. Or were there things you wanted to start,
but didn’t get to? add those to the list as well so you can take
them to the next year. Alright, now that we’ve reviewed the last
year, it’s time to do some cleanup, and tie up the loose ends of those projects that just
need a little more fixing to get them off your plate. Because you don’t want them to take away focus
of what you really want in the new year. Also, we’re going to do a little cleanup of
our workspace, and I mean your computer. I’m talking about the download folder, your
trashcan, and your inbox. Go through your download folder, and throw
away anything that you don’t need anymore and just sits there taking up space in your
computer. Also, go through your inbox, all those emails
that you don’t read anymore, unsubscribe from those lists. And when you’re done, don’t forget to empty
the trashcan, because otherwise, it’s still taking up space in your computer. Alright, now that we’ve got all that out of
the way, you probably feel a lot lighter allready, so now it’s time start with the really fun
part, writing down all your ideas for your business for the coming year. Let’s take out the post-its. Write down all your ideas on individual post-its. Where you want to be next year with your business,
or what you want to do, maybe you want to do a collaboration with anyone, or you can
think of a course you want to follow. Anything that you want to do in the next year,
write it down on a post-it. And I’d like to know, what is your big plan
for the new year. Comment down below. In the next video, we’ll be working out the
planning into further detail, but to get you started, you can already divide your ideas
and plans into 4 sections. One for each quarter of the year. So let’s take all those ideas of the first
three months of the year, and let’s take a look. How can we prepare ourselves for those ideas? For example, if you want to start a course
in January, Start to do some research already, on what exact course are you going to do? How are you going to enroll? What do you need to do to prepare? All those things you can already research
beforehand before it is the new year. Well there you have it, now you’re fully prepared
to start the new year with a bang. That’s all for today’s video if you thought
it was helpful, share it with your friends and fellow entrepreneurs, and let me know
by liking it and commenting down below. Thank you for watching and I will see you
in the next video.
